Best way to connect remotely to my computer via internet? - thin client browser

I control my desktop at home via the Internet browser. I do not want to install the software on the system / / computer workstation I use on my home computer access.

I prefer a free solution, but I'm willing to pay a fee to buy the software, but not willing to pay.

My platform is Windows Vista Home Ultimate.
