Drivers permit test questions...? - how many questions on ca are on the permit test

I am pleased to have on test, my driver's license and learned that it is possible a number of questions on the test, as it will lose? and after the test I have also heard that you driving lessons, not how much and when I do I do? (PS, I have to live in CA, if you know to respond.) Gracias!
